Our process

From kickoff to launch, and beyond

A fixed price and a clear plan, delivered in agile sprints with no surprises along the way.

  1. 1

    Discover

A free call to understand your business, users and goals. You get a clear recommendation, even if it's not us.

  2. 2

    Design

We map every screen and flow, then design a clickable prototype you approve before any code is written.

  3. 3

    Build

We build in one-week agile sprints. Every feature is tested against agreed scenarios before each demo on a live staging link, so you see working, tested software, not a rough draft.

  4. 4

    Launch & maintain

We ship to production or the App Store, then keep things updated, backed up and secure.

Our process is shaped by SAP Activate, the agile methodology used on enterprise SAP rollouts, scaled down to fit startups and small teams.

Quality

How we test

Twenty years of enterprise test management, applied to every app we ship.

1

Scenarios first

Before coding, we write the test scenarios with you: the happy paths, edge cases and what happens when things go wrong.

2

Every sprint, every device

Features are tested on our in-house platform across browsers, iPhones and Android phones, and every defect is tracked until it's fixed and re-tested.

3

Sign-off you can see

At launch you get the full test report: what was tested, the results, and every issue found and resolved.

FAQ

Common questions

What does the deposit cover?

The deposit books your slot and starts the design phase. The remaining balance is invoiced at launch. If we can't agree on scope after discovery, the deposit is refunded in full.

How do you handle changes if the price is fixed?

The scope you approve in the design phase is what the fixed price covers. During the build, you see a demo every week and can change priorities: a new idea can replace something of similar size at no extra cost, or be quoted as an add-on before any work starts. You always know the price before we build it.

How do you make sure the app works?

Testing is built into every sprint. We plan and run a full set of scenarios, including edge cases and error conditions, on our own in-house test management platform and on real devices, and track every defect until it's fixed. Before launch you get a test report showing what was tested and the results.

Who owns the code?

You do. All source code, designs and accounts (hosting, App Store, Stripe) are in your name from day one.

What technology do you use?

Web apps use Next.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQL, deployed to your own server or cloud. iOS apps are native Swift and SwiftUI, and Android apps are native Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, both backed by the same API stack.

Can you connect my app to SAP or other business systems?

Yes. With two decades of SAP experience, integrations with ERP, inventory and procurement systems are a strength. Choose Custom and tell us what you run.

Do you work with clients outside Austin?

Yes. Most projects run fully remote across the US. Austin-area clients can also meet in person.

What happens after launch?

Every package includes a post-launch support window. After that you can continue with ongoing maintenance and hosting, or take the code in-house.

Ready to start your project?

Tell us what you want to build and we'll follow up within one business day with next steps.
